Key Personnel

MARK L. PUCCIO, P.E. S.E.

STRUCTURAL ENGINEER/PRINCIPAL

Mr. Puccio attended the University of Wisconsin – Madison’s College of Engineering where he received his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering emphasis. While at the University Mr. Puccio’s concentrated focus on Structural Engineering permitted him to take several masters level design courses. Additionally, Mr. Puccio has passed both the NCEES Structural Engineer I and II exams. These higher level licensing exams give him the prestigious professional designation of “S.E.” and have allowed him to become a licensed structural engineer in states, such as Illinois, that require advanced testing beyond a basic P.E. license in order to practice structural engineering. Mr. Puccio is a founding principal of MP-Squared Structural Engineers.

Mr. Puccio has been the project engineer on hundreds of projects throughout his career. His knowledge of structural systems and materials is broad and deep and his project resume includes projects of many types ranging from churches to sports complexes to industrial facilities and beyond. Mr. Puccio performs all of his structural designs with the highest regard to safety, erectability, efficient use of materials, and code compliance.

Throughout Mr. Puccio’s career he has continued to gain academic knowledge by working for some of the country’s finest engineering firms and from attending specialized seminars and continuing education courses. This academic knowledge is buttressed by his practical field and construction experience making him the ideal Structural Engineer to have on any project.
